Ever wanted to control your CNC when your not in front of your computer. Here's one simple solution that's less than $20 and takes zero programming knowledge. Isn't it a bummer when your computer is not directly next to your CNC and you have to keep walking back and forth to control it? This little wireless keyboard is the key to breaking free from having to sit in front of the computer to control it. I simply plug in the usb dongle to my windows 10 laptop and it configures it automatically. (It will also work with Mac) I'm a Shapeoko user so I use their carbide motion as the gcode sender. Carbide Motion has built in hotkeys to move the machine on the "jog" page. Once your on the jog page, simple use the corresponding buttons on the wireless keyboard controller and jog the machine x y and z to the desired spot. I've also tested this in Universal GCode Sender (UGS). UGS allows customizable hot keys so you can program it to do even more than Carbide Motion will do. I even use it to control my J Tech Laser! For less than $20, it was a no brainer. It even comes in a bunch of different colors! Check out the video below to see it in action!

You could do that with Universal Gcode Sender as the gcode sender. You'd have to set up macros, but thats pretty easy.

Programming the Remote to have access to the Pause Button (an Emergency Stop) would be great - even though the Pause button is on a different screen. Maybe in the next Carbide Motion upgrade.
